RBT Professional Conduct and Scope Quiz
Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice is about 15 percent of the RBT exam, and its questions are scenarios with a social pull: a family offers a gift, a supervisor is unavailable, a parent asks a medical question. The tested skill is holding the professional line warmly but firmly.
A reliable heuristic for this domain: the correct answer almost always involves staying in scope, following the written plan, and telling your supervisor. Answers where the RBT quietly handles something alone are almost always wrong.

What the Professional Conduct domain covers
The Task List items include describing the role of the RBT in the service delivery system, responding appropriately to feedback and maintaining or improving performance accordingly, communicating with stakeholders as authorized, maintaining professional boundaries, and maintaining client dignity.
Beyond the Task List sits the ethics code that binds every RBT: supervision requirements, accurate credential representation, confidentiality in every medium, gift restrictions, dual relationship avoidance, and the duty to report violations. Exam scenarios blend these with everyday session life, which is exactly how they show up on the job.
